INTO THE LIGHT » Fine Art Wedding Photography by Przemek Macias & Seán Lordan

Stephanie & Ruairi made the trip from the US to tie the knot at the wonderful Ballymagarvey Village back last January. Now it was January so there was no expectation on the weather and yip, you guessed it, it rained all day! There was not a chance the weather was going to dampen their celebrations though!

Stephanie was truly glowing with excitement the morning of her wedding. Upon arrival we caught one glimpse of her Allure Couture gown and we knew it was going to be an awesome day, this girl had STYLE! Our good friends Sian Sharkey and Ailbhe lynch were on hand for hair and makeup which made for a super relaxing morning. Everything happened on site which meant there was no running about and no time wasted, meaning we could take advantage of the short hours of light we had. We highly recommendation anyone having a winter wedding to have it as early as possible and in one venue/location if possible.

For anyone who asks ‘what if it rains on our wedding day’ please refer to the epic shots below. Ok enough of the chit chat please dive in!

Seán and Jared were incredible! We planned our wedding from abroad, so we didn’t get to meet Seán and Jared ahead of time, but they were so responsive, attentive and understanding. They have such a colorful, beautiful, bright style that matched exactly what we were looking for, so it’s no surprise that every photo they took came out incredible. We also genuinely enjoyed spending our day with them. You don’t realize that on your wedding day, aside from your husband, the people you spend the most time with are your photographers, so it does matter that they are fun and lighthearted! The moments captured by Seán and Jared were so special, and because there were two of them we have so many photos of us but also of the reactions of our friends and family throughout the day. I am so glad we went with Into the Light photography, and we will cherish these photographs of our wedding day for the rest of our lives.

“Sean and Jared are the complete package. From first contact, we knew we had struck gold by managing to secure their services. Initially, my wife and I were focused entirely on the style of photograph that we wanted, but we soon realised that there are other important factors when picking wedding photographers. Sean and Jared are incredibly easy going and natural. The conversation that we had a few days before our wedding really put my mind at ease, and I knew we would get exactly the pictures and memories that we wanted. On the day itself, these guys were invaluable. Sean and Jared brought a natural and comforting humour, this was particularly important when we were nervous and getting ready. As someone who doesn’t particularly like posing, I was slightly dreading the portraits, but I found myself enjoying it and being far more natural than I thought possible – all down to these guys. Our wedding pictures speak for themselves, there are quite simply stunning. But know that with Sean and Jared, as we found when our wedding was running extremely behind schedule,  you are getting two guys that will go that extra mile. My wife and I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you both for the memories”
